Fibernetics focuses on fun to restore workplace passion

There is nothing more exciting for a consultant to come across clients that genuinely and wholeheartedly buy into the work that you do and believe what you believe. I have had the absolute honour of working with Fibernetics founders, John Stix (now President) and Jody Schnarr (CEO) to transform their workplace culture.

They have received numerous accolades for their incredible work and what a delight to see them profiled in The Record today. Check out the story here: Fibernetics focuses on fun to restore workplace passion

As most of my clients already now, I am passionate about culture and have learned over 20 years that it is the competitive differentiator that must be managed strategically. Fibernetics is doing just that. While this article focuses on the fun factor (something that is inherent in Fibernetic’s DNA as leaders – we laugh a lot together!) they have also worked hard to align the corporate values. I was honoured to facilitate their mission, vision and values. There is something utterly fantastic when a team lands on their shared purpose. The energy is palpabable. That kind of alignment is hard work and they didn’t shy away from it. Meaningful and authentic statements come from authentic leaders, and these guys are.

I am even more delighted to continue my work mentoring and coaching John’s leadership team. Together we are ensuring their “I’m in” culture is deeply embedded into the corporate DNA, from employee to customer happiness. Here’s hoping their leadership in the corporate culture arena continues to inspire other leaders to embrace this work.

Congratulations to the entire Fibernetics team. I am blessed to work with you.
